GMetz moving were wonderful! They made a stressful move a much easier situation. We had what seemed to be endless boxes and they handled the situation with class and patience. The whole move lasted from morning till night, but they never took a break or slacked off for even a short while. The whole moving team (Pedro, CJ, Jessie and Eddie) were professional and handled all our possessions with care. Everything was in the same shape at the end of the move as it was in the beginning of the move. They wrapped everything that needed to be wrapped and placed everything where they were asked to put it. We had three floors where items needed to be placed, and they handled the stairs with no complaints. They were accommodating to all our needs and requests. I would definitely recommend GMetz moving for any of your moving needs! ~ Denise F

I used G Metz to move a bedroom set from storage to a second floor apartment. They did a great job from start to finish. My only complaint is that I booked the move for 8AM and they didn’t arrive until 8:45, but the service was worth the wait! They were able to hoist a large dresser and headboard through a large window. I also had a large armoire and they tried everything they could think of to get it into the apartment, in the end it didn’t work out but not for lack of trying! George the owner even came out to assist. I got many estimates before choosing G Metz, they had the most reasonable price and no hidden fees! I would recommend them and absolutely use them again! Alex, Kenny & Benny were AMAZING! They worked so hard and so well together! They were professional, respectful, friendly and worked non-stop. They moved us from a 3rd floor, with some pretty heavy items, and made a stop to our storage unit to pick up another item before completing our move. They had awesome personalities and maintained great attitudes throughout the entire move. We have no damaged or missing items. We couldn’t be happier with our move, and choosing G Metz Moving to get the job done for us! Top notch service, from start to finish. I highly recommend G. Metz moving, and if I ever plan on moving again, George will be my first call. From our first conversation, George was cordial and honest, describing exactly what I could expect from his guys the day of the move. Some weeks later, and prior to our moving date, George personally came out to meet with me simply because I asked, and needed to be reassured about a few things. When moving day arrived, his crew arrived on time, in uniform, and worked tirelessly through scorching summer temps and humidity. The cordcrew was cordial, thorough and thoughtful. We had a few chuckles along the way, and they got us unloaded at the new place earlier than expected. I can't say enough good things about this company. Great experience from the 1st phone call a friendly and informative young woman answered the phone and got to the point and helped me right away. The 3 gentlemen that moved us were on time and friendly but not over friendly if you know what I mean. I had to store my move with them over night and that was $200 very reasonable. The next day they showed up at my house on time in 100’ weather in June. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate the professional work. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd rather have a root canal than move. It's one of the most stressful things a person can go through. After an incredibly bad experience with a guy we found on Craigslist, we heard about G.Metz through a friend. This company was not only willing to accommodate us the following day, but helped us move quickly and easily. We also came in under budget. The movers were polite, professional and incredibly helpful. Moving is a big deal. Don't make it any more painful than it has to be.Call G Metz and get it done right the first time. ~ Joe H

Scott and Erik were punctual and were "Ready to Go" when we needed to move furniture out of a Nursing Home that my mother was no longer present. They were very professional and new all the right people to open the facility doors that are locked and opened doors using with the security code that was provided. The cost of the move was a little less costly than quote due to the efficient way they conducted their business. I personally requested Scott after working with him recently during a friend's move from storage to a new home. Highly recommend G. Metz Moving. ~ Emily D

I bought an new oversized refrigerator from a well known appliance company in RI, waited two weeks for the delivery and then the delivery guys couldn't get it upstairs to my apartment. For another two weeks it sat in my front hall, until Danny and Jay from G.Metz movers came and got it moved upstairs for me. These were nice hard working young men who stayed focused, didn't get stressed and got my refrigerator moved. The company is squared away and they know what they're doing. Jay, Angel and Nick unloaded our POD for us and they did an amazing job! Our first interaction with them via phone was top notch. They are super responsive and flexible. I didn’t have an exact time to give them until the night before and they were very accommodating for us. When they got here they looked around the house and asked us what each room was. They finished the on really quickly even though we had some heavy items and they had to use the back stairs. We are super impressed by how hard working this group was! Used G Metz today for a large move and I’m so glad that I did. Nick, Angel & Jay were amazing! They were such hard workers and incredibly kind and helpful. I had big items (treadmill, peloton, power reclining couch) and they were extremely careful removing and placing them in my old and new house. And there were lots of stairs! They wrapped my table and hutch for protection which I appreciated too. Nick packed the truck like a Tetris expert! Very impressive crew of men, I’m so glad to have had their help and would definitely recommend them! ~ Kayla D

This was an absolute A+++ experience for my wife and I. Right off the top: booking was a breeze, AND I was able to it in LESS than 2 weeks notice! HOW GREAT IS THAT???! No frills/gimmicks/attempts at upsells. Once I got the service quote, I was stunned. I thought, "This can't be right", so I had a phone conversation with Ray and he confirmed it. Let me say, without throwing an exact figure out, that it was 75% less than anyone else I contacted. Ray immediately sent me a contract to secure the spot, and we were good to go. Even though I was only moving a 1BR loft apartment, the main piece of furniture was a king-size bed with a deluxe power base. They broke it down and still had some tight squeezes, but navigated flawlessly and were consummate professionals the entire time! Even when they got to the final destination, and it was equally as challenging. I cannot praise this team enough and will definitely be telling all of my friends and business associates about G Metz. These guys were absolutely they amazing. I called 10 different moving companies in RI that all attempted to nickel and dime me to death. G Metz was direct to the point and made literally everything seamless with just ONE hourly rate - with everything included (but actually unlike other movers). They showed up early, all of them were extremely professional thoughtful and respectful. I will never hire another moving company in this area. Have used them 3 times now and have been completely satisfied. They are prompt and professional and hard working. My only complaint would be I wish they doubled up on carrying some of the boxes in to save time but in their defense I packed them heavy! Highly recommend. I stopped getting prices from others and just use this company because I’ve been so satisfied! They wrapped everything well and padded the necessary items. They were organized and kind. ~ Angela G

My husband and I moved from a 3rd story apartment to a home and the guys at G Metz were awesome! Navigated our awful stairs with ease and nothing was broken or missing when we moved. On a separate day we also had G Metz move our 1,800lbs of gym equipment (free weights, squat rack, benches, bars, dumbbells, etc). and the whole process took about 1.5 hours. The movers at G Metz are very nice and courteous, would definitely recommend them!! ~ Mackenzie P

I have used G. Metz moving on three occasions. Absolutely fantastic service. Always show up early, professional movers. Amazing how they can move a safe and pool table so easily. Reasonably priced and well worth it. I was also surprised to find out that the first month of storage was free. Since I only needed three weeks of storage this was a huge. Five stars! ~ David C

They arrived on time, efficiently loaded truck. Employees were all polite and courteous and helpful. Two hour move to NH from Providence 100 miles away. They were unable to get their truck up my driveway in inclement weather but they made the best of it. There were some dings on 2 pieces of furniture and one large scratch on my floor but I will take care of it myself. All in all satisfied ~ Wendy R

Very professional and efficient. Hired G Metz to move my parents to assisted living. Arranging the move was easy, was able to make modifications online. Movers arrived on time, were very respectful of my elder parents, and worked very efficiently. They were patient and willing to move selected pieces of furniture to a different spot when requested. George Metz moving and storage is the first moving company that I have used that kept their word on the estimated price. The men at professional and the move was perfect. They arrived on time. Listened carefully to my instructions and worked hard. We had to first empty a storage unit and then drop off some at our house and pick up more to bring to a third floor condo. We have used G Metz twice. Once to move my parents belongings from central MA to coastal RI and again to move their Grand Piano. Both times the movers were extremely courteous and took care with every piece - big or small. They did not rush but were efficient.
